Add, import, and organize recipients
Add employees one at a time, by CSV, or from Microsoft Entra ID, and group them for targeting.
Add one employee
Open Employees → New employee and fill in the required fields (name, surname, employee ID, email). The optional fields are department, job title, phone, office location, city, country, and manager name.
Import many employees via CSV
Open Employees → Import CSV. Required columns: name, surname, employeeId, email. Optional columns: phone, jobTitle, department, officeLocation, companyName, city, country, managerName, and locale (a training-language code such as EN or DE; a language or preferredLanguage column works too). Columns can be comma- or semicolon-separated. The first line is treated as a header if it contains email and employeeId; otherwise rows are read in the order above. Only rows whose email domain is on your verified-domain allowlist are imported. The rest are skipped without a warning, so check your Verified domains setting first if an import comes up short. An example CSV is on the import page.
Import from Microsoft Entra ID
If your organization uses Microsoft Entra ID, open Employees → Import → Microsoft Entra ID instead of CSV. You need a directory connection first; set one up under Settings → Access & security → Directory connections (see Configure directory synchronization). Syncs are manual: run them from this Import page once the connection exists.
Organize into groups
Open Groups → New group, name it, then add members from the group's own page or by selecting employees on the Employees list. A group can be reused across any number of campaigns. You select it in the wizard's Targets step when you target part of the company instead of everyone.
Archiving
Employees who leave, or who should no longer be targeted, can be archived instead of deleted. This keeps their past campaign results. Use the Include archived checkbox on the Employees page to show or hide them.
