A directory connection syncs employee records from Microsoft Entra ID, so you do not import CSVs by hand. Entra SSO for admin sign-in is a separate feature, set up on its own tab.

A directory connection syncs employee records from Microsoft Entra ID, so you do not import CSVs by hand. Entra SSO for admin sign-in is a separate feature, set up on its own tab.

Before you connect it:

1. Get approval from your identity-management owner.
2. Create the app registration yourself in the Azure portal, following the steps below. Phishtime does not create anything in your tenant.
3. Grant only the permission needed: User.Read.All (application permission).
4. Enter the Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client secret into Phishtime. It checks them against Microsoft Graph before saving.
