Set up SMS and Viber messaging
Connect your own SMS or Viber provider account to run messaging simulations alongside email.
Messaging campaigns are on the Pro and Enterprise plans. They send from your own connected provider account, not a shared Phishtime number, so your organization is the sender of record, the same as with your own SMTP profile for email.
Confirm a phone number first
Before you connect a provider, at least one company admin must confirm a phone number under Profile → Personal information: send a code, then enter it. Nothing messaging-related works until this is done: connecting a provider, sending a test, or launching a messaging campaign.
Connect a provider
Open Settings → Email & messaging and click New provider under Messaging providers. Enter your provider account's API credentials and a sender ID for each channel (SMS, Viber, or both) you want. You can connect more than one account and limit each to certain recipient countries, which helps if you route messaging through different regional accounts.
Verify and test
Click Test connection on a new provider. It is an authenticated check that sends nothing but confirms the credentials work and marks the account Verified. A connected but unverified account cannot be used in a live campaign. Use Send test to actually deliver a message to your confirmed number before you rely on the provider.
If Phishtime has granted a shared provider
Some tenants are given a capped shared Phishtime messaging account, instead of or in addition to their own. If so, this page shows it along with your remaining message allowance. Connecting your own provider removes the cap.
